Keystone Academy grows for the future with tree planting event

Last weekend students from the Keystone Academy along with families and staff from the school were out planting 370 trees to develop the school’s Forest School area. At the heart of Keystone is the sense of community, sustainability and providing the very best environment for all students and staff and this was a fabulous opportunity to bring everyone together to start creating a fantastic outdoor learning space.

A staggering 370 trees were provided, free of charge by The Woodland Trust which will truly transform the area into a thriving Forest School area. For a full write-up of the tree planting event, please take a look at the newspaper report in the Shropshire Star – Special school growing for the future.

We will keep you posted with how the trees develop over the coming months!!
