The Kairos Academy

Part of the Black Country AP, The Kairos Academy is an Alternative Provision Academy, for pupils at risk of, or who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education. 

The Academy caters for up to 110 pupils from Year 7 to Year 11, and works closely with the LA and local high schools to ensure the best possible provision and safeguarding for some of the most disaffected and vulnerable learners in Wolverhampton.

A specialist provision for young people experiencing social, emotional, and mental health, in addition, the Academy offers support and guidance for those presenting challenging behaviour in their current setting. 

The Academy offers early interventions to those who are at risk of exclusion and cater for those who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education.  As a short-term provision, their primary focus is to reintegrate young people into a permanent education provision.
